Bismillah,
As salamu alaikum wa rehmatullah!
So..even though the blog has been up for a while now, I know haven't exactly been as regular as anticipated. But before you draw out your pitchforks and light up those torches, I have a pretty valid excuse in my defense - Exams!
Yes, exams. The dreaded word that we must come to face over and over again throughout our lives. Yet, there is something about exams that reminds us of what we should truly be doing, what our priorities should really be.
Whether it's studying, spending one's life according to Allah's commandments or just about anything we're supposed to do, exams help us awaken from our state of oblivion and smell the coffee - quite literally.
And like the person who wakes up to discover he is almost late for an important task, we spring into action and make every effort we can to give it that one last shot that we hope will save us from impending failure.
Bringing out the best in us is part of the intrinsic beauty of exams. What we make of them, though, is up to us. I pray that Allah helps us pass all the tests that life throws at us, with flying colors. Insha'allah. A'meen.
Without further ado:
As I've applied to a number of different universities here in Pakistan for my undergrad degree I have to undertake intensive preparation for my qualifying exams. Sometimes that means continuous classes from 6 in the morning upto noon and then revising and preparing the next chapters in advance, when I come home. I'm barely finding enough time to manage my pages, let alone making videos and corresponding to everyone who's writing to me (Sorry!). But then again Inna mal usri yusra - Verily, after hardship there is ease - Insha'allah.
So, now that you know why I'm not blogging as often as I'd like to..
I hope, you'll put those pitchforks away for just a wee bit longer? :)
Even though I really hope I can get admission into a good university soon, I pray that what is best and most beneficial materializes, being a source of perpetual benefit for me and the entire Ummah, Insha'allah.
Not knowing what's going to happen next can be difficult,
but it can give you the courage you need to take that blind leap of faith.
Please do keep me in your prayers; could really use some right about now.
Peace, love and respect.
Shahraiz.
Update: I should be free by around mid-july, Insha'allah.
